This policy explains what information ENGAGE — the Hotel Row Magazine and its AI Voice Concierge, published by LOBBY™ — collects from visitors and signed-in members, why we collect it, how long it is kept, and how you can request that it be deleted.

1. Data ENGAGE Collects

a) Anonymous traffic analytics

Every visitor, with or without an account, generates an anonymous page-view record. We store: the page path you visited, an anonymous session identifier, your device type (mobile, tablet, or desktop), your approximate country (derived from the network request, never GPS), and — when available — the referring website. No name, email, or account is attached to these records.

b) AI Voice Concierge conversations

The AI Concierge requires you to be signed in. When you use it, we store a conversation thread and the messages within it — including the text of what you said (transcribed from your voice), the concierge personality you chose (e.g. Local Insider, Luxury Concierge, Nightlife Guide), and the assistant's replies. Voice audio is processed to generate a transcript and a spoken reply, but the raw audio itself is not kept in your account.

c) Saved favorites & preferences

If you save a favorite hotel or venue, add a note, or set a preferred language for the concierge, we store that choice against your account so the experience feels personal on return visits.

d) Device location

The concierge can use your browser's location to suggest venues nearby. Precise coordinates are requested only in that moment and are used solely to rank nearby results for the current request. We do not store your GPS coordinates in your account or analytics profile.

e) Cookies & local storage

ENGAGE uses minimal cookies and browser storage to remember your consent choices and keep you signed in. You can decline non-essential cookies; core reading will still work.

2. How We Use It

• To answer your concierge questions and surface relevant hotels, events, and venues.
• To make the concierge feel personal on return visits (favorites, language).
• To understand which content is read so we can improve the Magazine.
• To deliver editorial updates when you have explicitly subscribed.

We do not sell personal data. We may share limited, necessary information with trusted service providers (e.g. email delivery, AI model providers, analytics) under confidentiality obligations, and only to operate the service.

3. Retention

Anonymous page-view analytics are kept in aggregate form for as long as they remain useful and are not linked to your identity. Concierge threads, messages, and saved favorites remain in your account until you delete them or close your account.

4. Your Rights & Requesting Deletion

You can access, correct, export, or delete the personal data ENGAGE holds about you at any time. To request deletion of your concierge history and saved preferences:

• Email info@hotelrow.co with the subject line "Data deletion request", using the email tied to your Hotel Row account.
• We will confirm your identity, then remove your concierge threads, messages, saved favorites, and preference settings.
• You can also unsubscribe from any email via the link at the bottom of every message.

We action verified deletion requests within 30 days. Some anonymous analytics records that can no longer be linked to you may be retained in aggregate.

5. Security

We apply reasonable safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, loss, or alteration. No method of transmission over the internet is fully secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Children

ENGAGE is intended for adult readers. We do not knowingly collect information from individuals under 16. If you believe a minor has provided data, contact us for prompt removal.
